I teach introductory and upper-level physics courses. In part, due to my experimental background, most of the classes I teach have lab components. My interests in research are in optics and photonics and in the development of experiments for physics courses. These interests include applications of spectroscopy, 4f Fourier optics, optical tweezers, and digital holography. Also, in applications of smartphone technology to physics measurements.
